I have been building, repairing, and designing, tube based and At Elevenous our goal is to bring you amplifiers that you can turn up to eleven !!!

Yeah, we all got a good chuckle at that bit from Spinal Tap, But that pretty well describes the feeling you get when your amp is working so well it feels like part of your guitar or an extension of your fingers.

I modify and repair Amps to make them sing. I'm a musician and electronic technician and I've been working on vacuum tube amplifiers and other electronic music equipment since 1968.

I especially like working on older tube guitar amps, like Fender, Marshall, Music man, Mesa Boogie, Vox, Ampeg, HiWatt, and Peavey etc.

I charge a $25 diagnosis fee up front which is deductible from the final repair cost, and bench time is $40 per hour. My parts prices are about the same as you find for single quantities online (including shipping), and routine repairs often take from 3-5 hours. I can only make a firm estimate upon examining your amp. Usually the turn around time is 2-3 weeks.

I've worked with several local music stores in the last twenty years, and several recording studio's as a full time technician, and recording engineer in the last 40 years. Currently, Connecticut Music of Stamford, CT has been referring a lot of amp repairs to me. If you are looking for musical instruments, need a luthier or other help with music, you couldn't find a better family run business with a superb reputation, expertise, and experienced friendly staff.

I am happy to share my knowledge of this field and help musicians who want to build or tweak their own amps.

I have an extensive collection of schematics and notes on modifying and repairing many different makes and models of amplifiers.
